YOUR GUIDE TO THE WIRE

The Wire manual

Stories, deals, companies and dates across the business of entertainment. A practical guide to every part of the AXIOM Global Entertainment Wire.

Step-by-step control pathsAccount & subscription helpKeyboard shortcuts

You can read this guide without signing in. It describes the interface as of September 2026; headlines, counts and the controls you see change with the data and with your access.

01 · Start here

Your first five minutes

The AXIOM Global Entertainment Wire is a live terminal for the business of entertainment: deals, filings, earnings, courts, regulation and people moves, gathered from the trades and the wider press and grouped so that one event reads as one story.

  1. Get the day’s pictureOpen the Wire and read THE DESK: a memo on the day and its TOP 10 stories. Select a headline to open that story in the feed.
  2. Follow the evidenceRead the excerpt, compare the other outlets listed under SAME STORY, and use READ AT SOURCE ↗ for the publisher’s full article.
  3. Go one level deeperWith a subscription, use DEALS for transactions and UNIVERSE for companies. CALENDAR holds the industry’s festivals, markets, conferences and awards.

Reading for a morning update?

Start with The Desk, choose a category above the feed, then set SORT: LATEST. Open the stories that matter and follow their source links.

Researching a company?

Type its name into SEARCH THE WIRE. The strip under the search offers the matching company, its Universe record and its deals. The record holds ownership, filed accounts and key people.

The Wire is a research starting point, not investment, legal or business advice. Grouping, summaries and extracted figures are produced with automated tools and can be wrong. The source links let you check the original report.

02 · Access

Sign in with your email

The Wire has no passwords. You sign in with a six-digit code or a link, both sent to the email address on your account.

  1. SIGN INAt the top of the page
  2. Email addressThen Continue →
  3. Open your emailCode or link
  4. Read the WireIn that browser
  1. Enter your emailChoose SIGN IN, or open the sign-in page. Type your address under Email address and press Continue →.
  2. Use the code or the linkThe email, headed Your sign-in code, carries a six-digit code and a Continue to the Wire button. Enter the code in the window where you started, or use the button. Both work once and expire after 15 minutes.
  3. Return normallyBookmark globalentertainmentwire.com, not the link in the email. This browser stays signed in. On another browser or device, sign in there in the same way.

New to the Wire

Choose Create a free account on Plans & pricing, or Create an account on the sign-in page. Enter your email, accept the Terms and confirm the code. To start a subscription instead, choose Start the free trial on a plan; the Wire verifies your email before it opens the checkout.

What each kind of access includes
AccessWhat you can open
Not signed inThe front page, Plans & pricing, this manual, the Terms and the Privacy notice. The Wire and the Calendar ask you to sign in first.
Free accountThe Wire, with The Desk and the side panels, and the Calendar. DEALS and UNIVERSE take you to Plans & pricing.
SubscriptionEverything in a free account, plus the Deals ledger, the Universe of companies and the deal card inside a story. Monthly, Annual, Team and Enterprise plans are described on Plans & pricing.

“If you have an account, your code is on its way.” The page gives this reply to every request, so it does not confirm that an account exists. If nothing arrives, check the spelling, your spam folder and any company mail filter. After three emails to one address within 15 minutes, the page asks you to use the latest email or to try again later.

Using an invite code

If you were given an invite code, open Have an invite code? on Plans & pricing. Enter the code, your name and your email, then press Redeem the code. The page confirms how long your access runs and opens the Wire in that browser. It also shows a sign-in code once; keep it. To read in another browser, email hello@axiom.vc.

SIGN OUT, in the account area at the foot of the Wire, Deals, Universe and Calendar pages, asks “Sign out of this browser?” and ends the session in this browser only. It does not cancel a subscription.

03 · The Wire page

Find your way around

The Wire page is the home of the service. Its header stays at the top as you scroll, with the destinations, search, the light and dark switch, the world clocks and the LATEST headline strip.

The header, from left to right
PartWhat it does
WordmarkOn the Wire page, clears the search, company, category, source and region filters and returns to the top. The time window and any storyline filter stay as they are. On other pages it takes you to the Wire.
WIRE · DEALS · UNIVERSE · CALENDARThe four destinations. Without a subscription, DEALS and UNIVERSE open Plans & pricing.
SOURCESLists every source the Wire reads, each marked AVAILABLE or TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE with its item count, and when the last collection run finished. Close it with CLOSE or Esc.
SEARCH THE WIRESearches the stories in the feed. Press / to jump to it. See Search & filter the news.
◐ / ◑Switches between light and dark. The choice is saved in this browser.
World clocksLA, NY, SAO, UTC, LDN, BER, DXB, MUM, SIN, TYO and SEL, each with a dot for daylight, twilight or night. Swipe or scroll the strip sideways for more cities.
LATESTA rolling strip of the strongest headlines of the last 36 hours. Select one to open its story in the feed. Ⅱ pauses the strip and ▶ resumes it; it also pauses while you hover over it or focus it.

The Desk: the day’s starting point

Select THE DESK to fold or unfold it; the Wire remembers your choice. The memo is the desk’s reading of the day, drafted with AI assistance from the stories it reviewed. UPDATED gives the time it was put together, in UTC, which is not the publication time of any one story. The line under the memo says how many stories were reviewed; when it ends SOURCE BRIEF, the memo is a plainer fallback assembled from the source material.

  • TOP 10 lists The Desk’s lead stories. Select one to open it in the feed.
  • THE DESK IS WATCHING lists storylines gaining coverage, with their story count over seven days. Select one to narrow the feed to it. How momentum is measured explains the method.
  • MOST COVERED ranks companies by story mentions over 48 hours. Select one to narrow the feed to that company, and again to release it. A count measures coverage, not the company’s quality.

Stay current

Above the feed, DATA … OLD gives the age of the loaded edition, beside the number of stories. When a newer edition is ready, a banner reads “Updated … Reload for the latest.” with a RELOAD button. “Showing the copy from …” means the Wire could not reach its server and is showing the last copy saved in this browser; reload a little later.

05 · From headline to evidence

Open a story, then follow its sources

Select a headline to open the story in place, below its row. READ AT SOURCE ↗ opens the publisher’s full article. The Wire carries an excerpt and context; the publisher may still ask for its own subscription.

Labels on a story row
LabelWhat it tells you
NEWThe Wire first saw the story less than two and a half hours ago.
2h AGOTime since the publisher’s own timestamp. It is separate from the edition’s data age.
+N MORE OUTLETSOther outlets covering the same story, grouped into this one entry. Open the story to compare them.
◆ N SIGNALSocial posts matched to the story. They appear under SIGNAL ON THIS STORY.
Money figureA figure named in the headline. Read the story or the deal to learn whether it is a price, a valuation or something else.

CATCH-UP · dateA late pickup of an event first reported around that date, not breaking news.
WIRE COPY · UNVERIFIEDSyndicated agency copy from an aggregator, whose publication date cannot be checked.
ROUNDUPA digest of several topics. Roundups are kept out of The Desk.

▶ LISTEN / ■ STOPReads the story aloud with your browser’s speech support. Voices and pronunciation depend on your device.
COLLAPSE ▲Closes the story.
Primary sourceWhen present, links to the company’s own filing with the named registry.
DEAL, EVENT & FILINGSThe DEAL card names the kind and status of the transaction and offers VIEW IN DEALS → (subscription). The EVENT card shows how firmly a development is confirmed, since when, and how many stories carry it. THE STORY SO FAR lists earlier coverage when there is no event card. FILINGS shows the court case behind a legal story: how the case opened, then rulings and recent docket entries, with Go to case ↗ and Court record ↗.
ORGANIZATIONS & CONTEXTCOMPANY and PERSON cards with Universe ↗, Wikipedia ↗ and Website ↗ links and, for a listed company, its latest available quote. A name match does not prove a company’s role in the story.
SIGNAL ON THIS STORYThe matched posts. Open a post at its source; engagement does not verify a claim.
SAME STORYEvery outlet covering this story, with its own headline, so you can compare reports.
RELATED ON THE WIREDifferent stories that share companies or themes. Further reading, not duplicate coverage.

Not every story has every part. When a publisher supplies no text, the story reads “headline only” and sends you to the source. A translated story shows ORIGINAL with the source, so you can check the wording.

  1. Select a headline
  2. Read the excerpt
  3. Compare SAME STORY
  4. READ AT SOURCE ↗

06 · Around the feed

Use the side panels

On a wide screen the panels sit to the right of the feed. On a narrower screen they move above it and start folded; open one with its heading or ▸. A panel appears only when it has data to show.

  1. Open a panel
  2. Choose a tab or row
  3. Read the entry
  4. Follow the original source

AXIOM GEI and INDEX MOVERS

The AXIOM Global Entertainment Index level with its 1W, 1M, YTD and S&P YTD moves, linked to globalentertainmentindex.com. INDEX MOVERS lists the day’s Gainers and Decliners by session move, in local currency. Select a company name to search its stories over the past 72 hours. Market data comes from Yahoo Finance and may be delayed.

THE STORYLINES

Ongoing narratives with seven days of coverage bars. N/7D is the story count for the week, and the arrow shows whether coverage is rising or falling. Select a storyline to filter the feed. This measures coverage, not success or failure in the real world.

THE CALENDAR

The next dates in the diary, with a countdown or NOW. FULL CALENDAR → opens the whole Calendar.

THE PODCASTS

Latest episodes from industry podcasts. The panel moves to the next show every few seconds while it is visible; use the arrows to choose one yourself, which stops the rotation.

THE DOCKET

SEC lists fresh filings by index companies, COURTS lists federal court dockets, and WORLD appears when there are international filings. Select an entry for the filing or case page. A document’s existence is not a finding on its merits.

THE STREET

When market data is available: EARNINGS, INSIDERS, CHATTER and STREET tabs for the index companies. Only tabs with data are shown.

THE SIGNALS

BSKY is Bluesky, REDDIT is Reddit and HN is Hacker News. ON THE WIRE → jumps to the story a post was matched to. Engagement is not verification.

THE TRADES

The publications this Wire reads, with SUBSCRIBE → links to their own subscriptions. A Wire subscription does not include theirs.

The MEDIA CFO panel signs you up, by email, to a separate newsletter. It is not part of your Wire account.

07 · Deals

Find the transaction behind the news

Choose DEALS in the header. The ledger holds every transaction the Wire has recorded, one row per deal rather than one per report. It is part of a subscription; without one, DEALS opens Plans & pricing.

  1. Choose a viewCORPORATE covers acquisitions, stakes, investments, financing, funding, joint ventures, buybacks and funds. CONTENT & RIGHTS covers rights, licensing, output deals, catalogues, co-productions and formats. ALL brings them together. The ledger opens on CORPORATE.
  2. Narrow the tableSearch a company, an asset, a title, a territory or a rights type; every word you type must match. Then use the kind, status, view and currency buttons.
  3. Open a rowSelect anywhere on a row to open its record, and again to close it. Select a column heading, such as Value or Seen, to sort; select it again to reverse the order.
Filters above the table
GroupChoices
kindALL KINDS, then the kinds present in the view, such as acquisition, stake, licensing or catalogue.
statusANY STATUS, then the reported stage: rumoured, talks, agreed, regulatory, closed, collapsed, lapsed or unknown. NOT YET ASSESSED holds rows still waiting to be read.
viewEVERYTHING, PRIVATE ONLY, UNDISCLOSED, PRIMARY SOURCE and NOT A DEAL. The last holds reports the reading judged not to be transactions; they are kept for inspection rather than deleted, and appear under ALL.
currencyALL CURRENCIES, USD and the other currencies present. A currency button keeps the deals written in that currency, plus those with no figure; it does not convert anything.

Values are shown in US dollars, converted at the European Central Bank reference rate for the day each deal was first reported. A converted figure shows its original currency beneath it. undisclosed means no figure is on record, not zero. The summary tiles above the table describe the whole view: deals, Priced, Converted to USD, Undisclosed, Private companies and Primary source.

Read the columns

ColumnRead it as
The sentenceEach corporate row reads as a sentence: who, the verb (acquires, acquires a stake in, invests in, sells and others), whom, and for how much. “— not attributed —” means the reports do not name that party.
ValueThe figure most outlets report, with its basis where known, such as equity or total term, a stake percentage or a valuation. “also …” lists other figures reported across outlets.
EvidenceA grade for the reporting behind the row: filed, confirmed, corroborated, reported, disputed or unverified, with the number of reports and outlets. primary source marks the company’s own release or filing. headline only and reading unsure warn that the extraction had little text or was uncertain.
StatusThe reported stage of the deal, not a forecast of completion. Where regulators are involved, a bar per jurisdiction shows their progress.
SeenThe month and day of the latest report on the deal.

A link ending with a deal’s identifier, such as the one behind VIEW IN DEALS → on a story, opens the ledger at that row.

08 · Deals, opened

Check the parties, the terms and the clause

An opened row keeps the claim and its evidence together. Its parts appear only when the record holds them.

  • Party cards name the buyer, the seller and the asset. “in the register under …” shows the company’s Universe entry; Universe ↗ opens that record, and Wikipedia ↗ and Website ↗ open outside sources. “not in the register” means the Universe has no entry for it. A listed party shows its ticker, price and last close.
  • Before the regulators lists each authority and its case, and says which are still open or that all are settled. A dashed line was read from an announcement rather than a case record.
  • Terms can include rights, territory, term, seasons, exclusivity and titles. read from says whether they came from the headline alone or the article. claim and asserted by give the certainty reported and who asserted it. The quoted clause is the sentence the terms were taken from.
  • Revisions note when a status or value was corrected after the first reading.
  • Further sources found by research are listed separately and are not counted in the evidence grade.
  • Reports list the coverage behind the row, newest first. Select a headline to read the source.
  1. Open the row
  2. Check the parties
  3. Read the quoted clause
  4. Open the reports

Below the ledger

What kind of money and How firm the claim is summarise the kinds of deal and the language of the claims. Priced deals, on a log scale spaces values by multiples, so equal distances are not equal amounts. What the filings say sets acquisition spending and buybacks from company filings beside the coverage. What this does not tell you states the ledger’s limits. Read each caption before adding figures together.

How a row is built, under The ledger, explains the method: when two reports count as the same deal, and how each row is read. If a field or party looks wrong, email the deal link, the field and your source to wire-feedback@axiom.vc.

09 · Universe

Find the companies behind the business

Choose UNIVERSE in the header for the register of companies the Wire tracks, many of them private. It is part of a subscription; without one, UNIVERSE opens Plans & pricing.

  1. Search or browseSearch a name, description, activity or parent. Narrow with All core activities, All countries, the index link filter (Linked to a constituent or Not linked) and the research filter (Researched facts, Filed accounts or Has a headcount).
  2. Choose the orderSort by Name, Country, Core activity, Ownership, Headcount, Least researched or Least recently verified. Select the active sort again to reverse it.
  3. Open a recordSelect a company’s row. Its name is a link to the company’s own website, so select elsewhere on the row to open the record. SHOW … MORE adds rows.

A GEI tag marks a company linked to a constituent of the AXIOM Global Entertainment Index. Three small marks beside a name show how deep its research goes: on the register, accounts filed, or researched. When nothing matches, CLEAR ALL removes the search and the filters.

A link to a record, such as Universe ↗ on a story or a deal, opens the Universe with that company marked LINKED and its record open.

10 · Inside a Universe record

Read a company’s record

An open record shows the sections its research supports, with a last verified date at the top. Select the row again, or open another, to close it.

Sections inside a record
SectionWhat you can learn
IdentityCompany number, LEI and other identifiers, founding year, legal form, register status, sector, core activity and ownership, with when the Wire first saw it and last verified it.
Addresses and Other officesThe location and registered address, where recorded.
OwnershipThe chain of parents up to the ultimate parent, with index constituents marked.
SubsidiariesCompanies recorded under this one.
Filed accountsFigures read from filed accounts, such as employees, turnover or revenue, profit or loss, equity and cash. “not filed” and “not tagged” mean the figure is absent from the filing, not zero.
Key peopleCurrent officers, where recorded. Titles change; check the company’s own sources.
Company factsThe stated purpose, as registered.
Links & sourcesThe website and registry links the record was built from. Follow the registry to confirm legal identity and current details.

Facts marked verified or corroborated say how they were checked. The Universe is curated and incomplete: a missing section means the research holds nothing for it yet.

11 · Calendar

Plan around the industry’s diary

Choose CALENDAR in the header for festivals, markets, investor conferences, trade shows and awards, grouped by month. Any account can open it, free accounts included.

  1. Narrow the diaryChoose ALL or a region, each with its count, and VERIFIED ONLY. Regions include EUR, UK, DACH (Germany, Austria and Switzerland), NAM (North America), LATAM (Latin America), MENA (Middle East and North Africa), APAC (Asia-Pacific) and GLOBAL. Your choice is remembered.
  2. Check the dateThe VERIFIED mark means the dates were confirmed against the event’s own site or a trade source. A ~ marks an expected window, shown dimmed, still being watched. The IN column counts the days to the start; NOW means under way.
  3. Open the organiserSelect the event name for its official website. Confirm dates, tickets and accreditation there before you arrange travel.

TIER 1 is an editorial marker for the most important events. PRESS means press access information is recorded; it is not accreditation. Events whose dates are not fixed sit at the end under ROLLING, which VERIFIED ONLY hides. The line at the top says when the diary was last checked and how many events are on file.

Submit an event

At the foot of the page, fill in SUBMIT YOUR EVENT. EVENT NAME and OFFICIAL WEBSITE are required; city, country, dates, type, your email and notes help. Press SUBMIT FOR VERIFICATION and wait for the reply. The Wire verifies the event against its official site before listing it, so a submission does not appear at once.

12 · Make it comfortable

Use the keyboard or a smaller screen

↑↓Move through stories
JKNext / previous story
→Open the selected story
←Close the open story
EnterOpen story / activate control
/Search
OGo to the source
EscClose / clear
?Keyboard help

The shortcuts work on the Wire page, outside text fields. Letter shortcuts use the unshifted letters. Press ?, or choose Show keyboard help in the footer of the Wire page, for the Keyboard navigation panel. Close it with ?, Esc or CLOSE; focus returns to where you were.

  1. ↓Select a headline
  2. →Read the story
  3. OGo to the source
  4. ←Close the story

Enter or → opens the selected story, and pressing either again closes it. When a link or button has focus, Enter activates that control instead. O opens the selected story’s source in a new tab.

Esc works from the inside out: it closes the SOURCES list, leaves a text field, closes keyboard help or the bug report, closes the open story, and then clears the search or company filter. It does not reset the category, source, time or region filters; use their own controls, or the wordmark. Shortcuts with Ctrl, Command or Alt keep their usual browser meaning.

The story keys do not act on Deals, Universe or Calendar; use Tab and Enter there. On the public pages, this manual included, / moves to the SEARCH THE WIRE box in the header.

On a phone or tablet

The Desk starts folded on a phone unless you have chosen otherwise. The side panels move above the feed and start folded. +N MORE ▾ shows the remaining categories. On narrower screens the destinations fold behind the menu button in the header. Swipe sideways along the clocks and wide tables.

Light, dark and larger text

Use ◐ / ◑ to switch palettes; the choice is saved in this browser. Browser zoom and text scaling work throughout. This guide’s Print / save as PDF button prints every topic and FAQ answer.

Keep the Wire close

Bookmark globalentertainmentwire.com, or use your browser’s Install or Add to Home Screen option where it offers one. The installed shortcut needs a connection and your normal sign-in; it keeps no offline copy of the news.

The analytics banner offers DECLINE and ACCEPT. Analytics settings in the footer opens it again. The choice is separate from signing in and from your subscription.

13 · Help improve the Wire

Send a useful correction or report

A wrong fact

Email wire-feedback@axiom.vc, the address in every footer. Include the link to the story or deal, what is wrong and the source that shows it. Each report is investigated and, where the Wire is wrong, corrected.

A broken control or page

On the Wire page, choose Report a bug in the footer. Say What happened and, if you like, What you expected, then press Send report; the reply gives a reference. The report includes the Wire version, the page, the story you have selected, your browser details and your account, so it can be followed up. On other pages, Report a bug opens an email to wire-feedback@axiom.vc.

For signing in, billing, cancellation or your personal data, email hello@axiom.vc from the address on your account.

  1. What happened?
  2. Page or story link
  3. What you expected
  4. Source or screenshot

Never forward a sign-in email or include a card number in a report.

14 · Your account

Billing, renewal and cancellation

A Monthly or Annual subscription is managed from the Wire. Sign in and choose MANAGE in the account area at the foot of the page. It opens the billing portal for your account, where you can change your card, download invoices and cancel. MANAGE appears for Monthly and Annual plans only.

Common subscription tasks
I want to…Where to go
Start a subscriptionOn Plans & pricing, choose Start the free trial on Monthly or Annual. Verify your email, complete the checkout, and the welcome page confirms “Your trial is ready.” Keep the same email address throughout.
Cancel renewalOpen MANAGE and follow the cancellation steps, or email hello@axiom.vc. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, and you keep access until then.
Change my cardOpen MANAGE and update the payment method there. Never send card details by email.
Download an invoice or receiptOpen MANAGE and use its invoice history. Payments are handled by Link, which issues receipts and invoices and offers transaction support.
Change my planUse the portal’s plan option if it offers one; otherwise email hello@axiom.vc. Do not start a second subscription to make a change.
Arrange team accessChoose Talk to us on Plans & pricing and send the enquiry form. Team and Enterprise are arranged directly, with their own payment terms.

Monthly and Annual begin with a 14-day free trial. A card is needed at checkout and nothing is charged during the trial; cancelling before it ends costs nothing. You are reminded three days before a trial becomes a charge and seven days before each annual renewal. Prices exclude VAT, and the checkout shows the currency, tax and total before you confirm. Current prices are on Plans & pricing; the Terms, section 4 hold the binding price table and section 6 covers renewal, cancellation and refunds.

Signing out and cancelling are different. Signing out ends the session in one browser. Cancelling stops renewal from the date in your confirmation. Closing a tab or deleting a bookmark cancels nothing.

Signing in

How do I sign in?
SIGN IN → Email address → Continue → Code or link

Enter the email on your account, then use the six-digit code or the link from the email. There is no password. See the sign-in walkthrough.

The sign-in email has not arrived. What should I do?
Check the address → Spam folder → Send it again

Check the spelling and that you used the address on your account. Look in spam and any company quarantine. Then use Send it again, which becomes available after 30 seconds. The page gives the same reply whether or not an account exists. If nothing arrives, email hello@axiom.vc from that address.

Why does my code or link say it has expired?
Sign-in page → Continue → Use the newest email

A code and its link expire after 15 minutes and work once. Five wrong codes also end it. Request a new email and use the newest one promptly.

Can I use another browser, phone or computer?
New browser → SIGN IN → Email code

Yes. Sign in on each browser with a fresh code. Private browsing, clearing site data or signing out means signing in again.

How do I reset my password or change my email address?
No password → Email hello@axiom.vc

There is no password to reset. To change the email address on your account, write to hello@axiom.vc from your current address.

I have paid, but Deals is still closed to me.
SIGN OUT → SIGN IN with the checkout email → Reload

Sign in with the exact address you used at checkout, then reload the page. If Deals still does not open, email hello@axiom.vc with your account email and the date of purchase. Do not buy a second subscription to fix it.

Reading and finding information

Why is the feed empty or showing fewer stories?
NOTHING MATCHES → CLEAR ALL → Widen to 14D·ALL

Filters combine. Clear the search and any category, source, region, company or storyline filter, and widen the window. The time window, sort and row height are remembered from your last visit. A load error needs a reload; it is different from a search with no matches.

Does search cover every past article?
Wire = recent feed → Universe / Deals = their own records

No. Search covers the stories in the Wire’s recent feed, not a full archive. For a company’s background use the Universe; for a transaction and every report behind it use Deals.

How do I know I am seeing the latest edition?
DATA … OLD → Updated banner → RELOAD

Read the data age above the feed separately from each story’s age. When the banner offers RELOAD, a newer edition is ready. “Showing the copy from …” means the Wire could not reach its server; reload later.

Why does a source article ask me to subscribe?
Open story → READ AT SOURCE ↗ → Publisher’s site

A Wire subscription covers the Wire. It does not include a publisher’s own subscription; the source link opens the publisher’s site on its own terms.

Why do two figures for the same deal disagree?
Open the deal → Value basis → Reports

Outlets report different things: a price, a valuation, a total-term value or a stake. An older report may carry an earlier figure. The ledger shows the figure most outlets report and lists the others as “also …”. Read the basis, the claim and the reports. If the source was misread, send the deal link and the source to wire-feedback@axiom.vc.

Are deal values converted between currencies?
Value column → Original beneath → currency buttons

Values are shown in US dollars at the European Central Bank reference rate for the day the deal was first reported, with the original figure beneath. The currency buttons only filter: they keep deals written in that currency, plus those with no figure.

Why is a company, event or figure missing?
Try another spelling → Check filters → Send a correction

Coverage is curated and incomplete. A blank figure means none is on record, not zero. Try a shorter name or another spelling, and check the filters. Send additions, with a source, to wire-feedback@axiom.vc; events can go through the Calendar’s SUBMIT YOUR EVENT form.

How do I report a duplicate or wrongly grouped story?
Open story → COPY LINK → Report a bug or email

Copy the story’s link with COPY LINK and send it with both source links, saying what was grouped wrongly. Use Report a bug on the Wire page, or email wire-feedback@axiom.vc.

Why is LISTEN silent or a translation missing?
Open story → ▶ LISTEN → Device volume and voices

LISTEN uses your browser’s speech support, so available voices depend on your device; check its volume and stop with ■ STOP. Not every story is translated. When one is, ORIGINAL shows the source so you can compare the wording.

Can I use the Wire with the keyboard?
Wire page → ? for help → Arrows to read

Yes. On the Wire page, press ? or choose Show keyboard help in the footer. Shortcuts work outside text fields; see the keyboard map.

Subscriptions and billing

Where do I manage my subscription?
Sign in → MANAGE at the foot of the page → Billing portal

Choose MANAGE in the account area at the foot of the Wire page. It appears for Monthly and Annual plans. If it is missing or does nothing, email hello@axiom.vc rather than starting a second subscription.

How do I cancel?
MANAGE → Cancel → Confirm

Follow the cancellation steps in the billing portal and keep the confirmation, or email hello@axiom.vc. No call or reason is needed. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, and you keep access until then.

How does the free trial end?
Trial reminder email → MANAGE → Cancel if needed

Monthly and Annual begin with a 14-day free trial, with nothing charged during it. You are reminded three days before it becomes a charge. To stop, cancel in MANAGE before the trial ends; that costs nothing.

When will I be charged, and when does access end?
MANAGE → Subscription → Renewal date

The billing portal shows your next charge and its date. The account area at the foot of the Wire page shows your plan and the date your current period runs to. After cancelling, your confirmation gives the end date.

How do I get an invoice or receipt?
MANAGE → Invoice history → Download

Use the invoice history in the billing portal. Link, which handles payments, also sends receipts by email. For a correction to an invoice, email hello@axiom.vc with the invoice reference.

How do I update a card or fix a failed payment?
MANAGE → Payment method → Update

Add the new card in the billing portal and follow any steps for an unpaid invoice. If a payment fails, access can be paused until it succeeds. Reload the Wire once it has; email hello@axiom.vc if access does not return.

Can I switch between monthly and annual?
MANAGE → Change plan, if offered → Review

Use the portal’s plan option when it is offered, and check the amount and the date before you confirm. Otherwise email hello@axiom.vc to arrange the change without a second subscription.

How do I arrange access for a team?
Plans & pricing → Talk to us → Enquiry form

Send the enquiry form with your company, the plan and roughly how many people. Each person needs their own access; the Terms do not allow a sign-in to be shared.

How do I ask about a refund, VAT or an unexpected charge?
Invoice → Terms, section 6 → hello@axiom.vc

Email hello@axiom.vc with your account email, the invoice reference and a short explanation. The Terms, section 6 set out when refunds apply; this manual does not change them.

I may have subscribed twice. What should I do?
Compare emails and invoices → hello@axiom.vc

Email hello@axiom.vc with both account emails and invoice references before changing anything else. Do not send card numbers or sign-in links.

Help

What should I include when asking for help?
Page link → What happened → Expected result → Email

Include the page or story link, the time, your browser and device, and the steps that led to the problem. A screenshot helps; remove billing details and sign-in links first. Use wire-feedback@axiom.vc for errors and hello@axiom.vc for your account and billing.

How do I close my account or ask about my data?
Cancel any subscription → Email hello@axiom.vc

There is no self-service deletion. Cancel any subscription first, then email hello@axiom.vc from your account address. The Privacy notice explains what is kept and your rights.
