What you actually get

Not a feed of headlines. A ledger where every row has both sides resolved to a company, a price and what the price means, a regulator status, and the clause each claim was taken from.

One deal opened: Paramount Skydance and Fox acquiring Warner Bros. Discovery for $111B at a $110B valuation, read from 36 reports across 32 outlets and marked disputed; regulator rails showing the EU notified, the UK cleared at phase 1 and the US cleared, four of five in review; and a company entry for each party with its description, headquarters, sector, links and share price.
One deal, opened. The price and what the price means, how many outlets it was read from, where it stands with five regulators — and a company entry for every party to it.
The watchlist: a searchable, filterable register of mostly-private media and entertainment companies, each with location, a description of what they do, core activity, activity tags and ownership or parent.
The watchlist. 2,621 mostly-private companies, searchable by what they do, where they are and who owns them.
The deal board's view switcher: corporate transactions, content and rights deals, or all of them, each with its own count.
Two boards, one ledger. Corporate transactions and content, licensing and rights deals are kept apart — they share almost none of the same fields — and filtered by kind and status.

Compare the plans

The wire is the news. The ledger is the transaction behind it — who bought what, from whom, for how much, on what terms, and whether it has closed.

Talk to us

Team, Enterprise and Enterprise Plus are quoted per client. Tell us roughly what you need and Tobias will reply himself — usually the same day.

Goes to Tobias at AXIOM and nowhere else — it is not a mailing list and you will not be added to one. Delivered by Formspree, who process it on our behalf.

Ask for access

The wire is invitation-only while the index is being finished. Early collaborators get 90 days, free — the wire, the desk memo and the ledger sample. Tell us who you are and Tobias will look at it himself.

No card, and nothing to cancel — a code opens the wire for its term and then simply stops. Your key is created in this browser and only its fingerprint is sent to us, so nobody here ever holds it.

or ask for one

Goes to Tobias, and is read by a person before anything is issued. Nothing is charged and no card is asked for. If you are approved you get a key by email; if you are not, you will still hear back.

Questions

If the answer you need is not here, email tobias@axiom.vc and a person will reply.

What happens when the 14 days are up?

The subscription starts and the first payment is taken, at whichever price you picked. We will email you before that happens, not after. If you cancel during the trial you are not charged at all, and your access runs to the end of the fourteenth day.

How do I cancel?

One click in your account, or one email to tobias@axiom.vc. There is no retention call and nothing to negotiate. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.

What happens to my access if I stop paying?

You drop back to Free — the wire itself, the desk memo and the ten-row sample of the ledger keep working. Only the ledger and the watchlist close. Nothing is deleted and nothing is held hostage; if you come back, you come back to the same key.

Why is it billed in pounds?

The seller, Colibri Holdings Ltd, is UK-registered, so sterling is the currency it invoices and reports in. The euro and dollar figures shown on this page are converted at the European Central Bank's published reference rate — they are there to give you a sense of the size, and your card issuer will use its own rate on the day.

Is VAT included?

Prices are shown excluding VAT. The seller is Colibri Holdings Ltd, and VAT is calculated and applied by Stripe at checkout based on where you are and whether you are buying as a business. If you are a VAT-registered business outside the UK, enter your number and the reverse charge applies. Your invoice comes from Colibri Holdings Ltd and shows the VAT treatment that was used.

Where does the data come from?

Trade and financial press, company statements, regulatory filings, and the merger registers of the European Commission, the CMA, the FTC, the DOJ and the Bundeskartellamt. Every claim on a row carries the report and the sentence it was taken from, so you can check it rather than trust it.

What if a row is wrong?

Tell us and it gets fixed. Every deal has a correction link that names the row and the field. Corrections are made against the source, and where a figure changes the row records what it was before — the ledger keeps its own history rather than quietly rewriting itself.

Can I share my key with the team?

Monthly and Annual are one seat and one key. Please do not share it — not because we are policing it, but because a shared key cannot be withdrawn from one person without resetting everybody.

From five people at the same company, Team is cheaper than five Annual subscriptions and gives each person their own key.

How is Team priced?

£120 per seat per year, from five seats — so £600 a year for a team of five, and £120 for each person after that. That is 20% below the individual annual rate. Team is annual only, because the discount is the thing an annual commitment buys.

Seats can be added during the year and are charged pro rata. Removing one takes effect at renewal.

What is the difference between Enterprise and Enterprise Plus?

Enterprise is this product at your scale — the same wire, the same ledger, the same watchlist, with as many seats as you need across departments and offices.

Enterprise Plus is a different product: the wire filtered to the markets and companies you cover, a deal view built to your definition of a relevant deal, and reports written to your questions. It is scoped with you before it is quoted, so the conversation starts with what you need rather than with a number.

Do you offer refunds?

The trial exists so you can decide before you pay. If something goes wrong after that — a charge you did not expect, a plan you were not using — email us and we will sort it out. We would rather refund you than argue with you.

Start with the ten rows. Decide from there.

The sample is not a teaser — the rows in it are complete, exactly as a subscriber sees them. The trial opens the rest of the ledger, and the search across it.
