3. The Index is not a benchmark
The AXIOM Global Entertainment Index is published as an information index: a measure of how a defined universe of entertainment companies has moved, computed by a published methodology.
It is not offered, and must not be used, as a benchmark within the meaning of assimilated Regulation (EU) 2016/1011 (the UK Benchmarks Regulation) — that is, it must not be used to determine the amount payable under a financial instrument or contract, to measure the performance of an investment fund, or to define an asset allocation or a performance fee.
We are not a registered or authorised benchmark administrator. If you wish to reference the Index in a financial product, contact us first; that use requires a licence and a regulatory position that does not currently exist.
4. Market data
Market data on the Wire and the Index is supplied by a third party, may be delayed, and is not a real-time feed. Prices are unadjusted unless stated. Do not use it for trading, for valuation, or for anything where the difference between a delayed price and a live one matters.
5. Accuracy
We take accuracy seriously and the Wire's architecture is built around it: every claim carries the report and the sentence it came from, corrections are made against the source, and a changed figure keeps the record of what it said before.
Nonetheless:
- we do not warrant that the content is accurate, complete or current;
- we do not warrant third-party content — reporting, filings, registry records or market data produced by someone else;
- machine-generated content may be wrong, including in ways that read as though it were right (AI Use and Transparency);
- the absence of something from the Wire is not evidence that it did not happen.
Check the source before you rely on it. Every item gives you the link to do so, and that is the point of the design.

The Wire is published from the United Kingdom. We make no representation that it is appropriate or available for use anywhere else, and you are responsible for complying with your local law if you access it from outside the UK.
